Does anybody else have problems with the Springboard constantly crashing.

On average, this happens about 4 times a day. Most of the time I'm not doing anything specific. The phone is in my pocket. I take it out to discover it has crashed to Safe Mode.

It is getting to a point were I am considering doing a restore to unjailbreak it.

This is such a shame as pre 3.0 I had absolutely no problems...

it screwed up a lot of peoples ipods so it couldve been a reason why youre springboard crashed but seeing as you dont have it it cant be the problem. do you have winterboard or any other cydia apps installed?

Yeah, I have winterboard and numerous other apps installed such as Categories, Fiveicon Dock, Five Column Spring Board, Live Clock, a Calendar/Weather widget, SBSettings etc.

The biggest loss to me would be the theme

But, if I keep crashing, I may be forced to get rid of everything.
I may just restore and put the few bare essentials that I want on there... that may reduce the crashes!

I'm removing what I can to see if this helps... I'd hate to have to lose my theme

I know that lockdown makes it crash a ton and that rotation inhibitor crashes it a bit too
