Whenever I loadup the Spotlight Search page, my ipod crashes and makes me restart SpringBoard. It didn't do this when I was running 3.1.3, however after the upgrade to 4.0 it seems to be a persistent issues. Incase it matters, I'm on a 3g iPod touch that was jailbroken using JailBreakMe.com.

I've removed any app that I can find that is listed as being in conflict with iOS4. I have no apps that do anything to the search.

    Any ideas at all?

Before upgrading to 4.0 did you restore?

I sure did... I use PkgBackup, Backuped up via iTunes, restored, upgraded, jailbroke, installed PkgBackup, restored via iTunes, restored via PkgBackup.

What would too many apps do to cause that? I wasn't aware there was a limit...

LxRoyaling, I tried disabling all the different components of the search via Settings > General > Spotlight Search. The only other reference I can find is this guide, but that disables it, doesn't remove the page. Is there any other way to accomplish your suggestion? Thanks.
