    TIPS

    If you are having trouble jailbreaking, follow these steps;

    Run As Windows 98 Compatibility
    Run As Administrator
    Turn Off Firewall

    When I first ran Spirit, jailbreak failed because my antivirus/firewall deleted a dll file. So try turning off your antivirus/firewall while jailbreaking.

    Thanks Comex! Me love you long time...

    Hmm, in that case, make sure you have iTunes closed. iTunes is not required for this jalibreak.

    Do you have the latest version of iTunes? Hmm, try this:
    Have your iPod connected to your computer, Spirit in the desktop. Restart your PC, make sure iTunes doesn't open and proceed on from there.

    A quick question, i'm currently in 3.1.2 unjailbroken and not backed my shsh blobs yet, the best way to follow for me would be:

    1) update to 3.1.3 within itunes?
    2) when in 3.1.3, back up my shsh?
    3) apply spirit on 3.1.3?

    i would really appreciate if someone clear this up for me (if this is the correct way to do this or some alternatives), thanks in advance.
