Yeah, there are ALOT more daemons and those aren't covered.. but you can still delete all the ones mentioned in the original post.

I deleted some of the conditional ones and all the safe ones, and i get this weird glitch. IN the upper right it says "Searching..." instead of "iPod" im going to try and edit it with Make it Mine. Heres a screenshot of it: Here But after getting rid of them it runs a lot faster.

EDIT: Make it Mine didnt work, do you know what Daemon might cause this?

com.apple.comcenter.plist. As of 4.2.1 removing that daemon causes this issue.

Yeah, you can delete the helper daemons for com.apple.commcenter.plist, just do not remove this one no matter the device.

    Can't see them.

I am using Winscp to ssh but I can only see ch.ringwald.BTstack.plist and
    com.openssh.sshd.plist
I have also gone there in iFile but still only those two in /Library/LaunchDaemons
    Any ideas?

RedSn0w does not restore deleted daemons (not possible) Unless it;s done with iFile.

I deleted my daemons via i-Funbox, rebooted with redsn0w and checked iFile and the daemons were still gone, and my phone is now performing considerably better then before deleting the launch daemons. So I don't see how redsn0w can make processes run that are simply not there. Really makes not sense. Redsn0w only uses the daemons "it has to" to boot the phone. not every single daemon is being used during booting (tho most of them are). I currently have a SemiTethered jailbreak via redsn0w on 5.0.1 and I have noticed a good difference in functionality after deleting these daemons so I am forced to believe that deleting the "labled safe" daemons will speed up your phone whether it's a tethered jailbreak or not. I really can see a physical difference, Even in boot time when booting tethered. It's even faster after deleting these daemons. That statement about redsn0w using the daemons you deleted during booting tethered can simply not be true. Just makes no sense.

I could see this happening if the daemons were deleted throught iFile, simply because they are placed somewhere else as inactive for overwriting. But once you manually delete a daemon via a "USB" connection (i-Funbox for example.................Really USB SSH is "the" best way to go)it is gone for ever unless you backed it up and manually put it back or you restore.

    Common sense really.

It doesn't restore the daemons. It runs the actual process(Located in usr/libexec)

It's given an IPSW, it has everything it needs to start the processes. But you say the bug is gone? I don't think anybody has tested it, it just used to be a bug with older versions of redsn0w.

    EDIT

Haha that's new... After removing the daemons launchctl does see the .bak files ( I rename them instead of removing them just in case) and decides to skip loading them. Guess that bug with redsn0w is fixed!!

Yeah I thought so. I mean I'm no expert or anything but I knew it wasn't in my head that my phone is working better.lol. But yeah i guesss getting that info from the IPSW makes sense I never thought of that. But still at least us tetherted jalbreakers can remove our unwanted daemons and have it speed up our phone tethered or untethered.
What I would like to do is delete every single daemon from my phone that i dont need. Like every single one.lol
