i HATE when my friends come over and use their ipods the whole time and are oblivious to everything else! there ipods are jailbroken and i've stored there devices' ip addresses in my LAN. I know basic SSH commands to ssh into there ipods, close apps, launch apps, reboot and respring. So here are my two questions:

    1. Is it possible to type a message to them after i launch the notes.app (or any app or .txt file) by the SSH method previously shown or another method

    2. What are some other good commands to mess around with them (i dont intend on deleting files and apps) if there are any.

thank you in advance (although ill probably thank you again)

Sorry, but I don't know anything.

But, where did you learn the commands? A source is appreciated

"pkill" is fun, tell them to get it on Cydia,
Then ssh into to then and do:
    "pkill 2m halt"
And that will turn their ipod off in 2 minutes
(enough time to put you ipod away and say that it wasn't you... hehehe)

    Doesn't work:
    Enough fun for one day!

EDIT: Found out the second one Launch Daemon doesn't work...

If they are on 3.0 type simulatecrash -h and the screen on their ipod will start to shake. Should scare the piss out of em. Or you could go in and delete all their sexy pr0ns.

If you are going to use the simulate crash command through ssh, the command to make it stop is killall simulatecrash.
