I bought this when it first came out, and honestly, I don't regret spending the full price because it is worth every penny.

I advise anyone who wants a great mail client, and who wants to feel like they got an amazing deal, to buy this now while it's demoted in price.

I don't understand why people would want a different mail client? I think the stock one is pretty good...

Well, for starters, one feature won me over. That feature is the ability to play Youtube videos without having to load a browser. When I get Youtube emails I can click the video and it plays inside Sparrow.

It looks a bit nicer and seems to respond faster then the default client.

The gesture controls and the ui are good too, smoothly animated and responsive and the built in browser is definitely a plus since you don't have to switch apps to view links. I mostly like it because it's a lot smoother to use than the stock app and since my email is mostly for registrations and receipts and stuff, push isn't hugely important to me. At $2.99 I thought it was pricey for what I got even though I liked it but it's definitely worth it for $.99.

Major downside as mentioned though is no push so if that's important for you it may be suited to you although you could grab it anyway since it's possible they will add push in the future. You can get sparrow+ but then you always have to have it running in the background for it to work so it's still not really ideal.
