So I ran bosstools to check my touch for space before doing the jailbreak, and it says I only have 41MB out of 300 free. I deleted the apps folder when I did the move. Did I miss something else?

Thanks! It appears my other posts have been ignored so I would really appreciate some help on this one =/

sorry but i dont really understand what you're asking... if you have 41 MB before you moved the applications, you're lucky as hell. most people have 4 MB free.

no it was after I moved it that I had 41MB. Im confused because the jailbreak says it wants 160MB. If Ive moved my apps already, should I be fine?

Don't worry about what space you have before you Jailbreak...

If you want to save yourself ALOT of issues... follow these steps...

1.) Start from a fresh (empty) 1.1.1 Restore...
    1.b) Jailbreak 1.1.1
    1.c) Install Oktoprep

2.) Do an upgrade to 1.1.2
    2.b) Jailbreak 1.1.2

    3.) Update Installer to 3.0b10

4.) Install BSD Subsystems from Installer

5.) Perform a 1.1.3 Jailbreak in whatever form you want.

    6.) After JB'in 1.1.3 Install Boss tools from sleepers.net/iphonerepo

After that, you're on your own.

If you need any other help, there's many a thread on how to fix stuff.

I have the same thing. Was about to make a thread about it...iTunes says I have 166 MB dedicated to "Other" with usually around 30-40 MB for system files....Thing is, I don't have 120 MB worth of third party apps installed to take up all of that space.

When I saw what BossTools was telling me, I immediately went into SSH and started looking around for remainders of iJailBreak, but I couldn't find anything (nor does it really help that WinSCP doesn't support folder size). Any ideas?
