I was putting some apps, games, and other stuff on my Jailbroken 1.1.2 8 gig ipod touch today. I jailbroke it yesterday. A notice came up saying something like "running out of space" or something like that. I only have 1.53 gigs of music, and after going thru everything i have installed and checking the space it takes i got 21.4 mb. Was this just an error on installer/my ipod? Do all the packages i havent installed take up space too?

The spring board apps i have installed are:
Installer, Customize, Mail, Weather, Maps, SMBPrefs, Apollo, Homework, NES (with a few ROM's), iSnake, Sketches, Flashlight, and Lights Off.

The error showed up when i was installing the iPhone apps (mail, maps, and weather). I installed the pre-install stuff for mail and maps. I used the computer-free way to install the iphone apps.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Actually, this is an error you should fix. You can and will run out of space eventually.

    Here's how it works:

Apps are installed, by default in a smaller partition on your iPoT, while the "bulk" of your storage space is reserved for music, videos, photos, etc.

Search around the forums for an Installer source that has the "Bigboss" applications and download the "Fixer" one. This has an option that can be used to move all of your applications to the media partition, thus giving you lotttts more space.

    Hope this helps!
