Ok, I'm having a problem with the little slider on the bottom, that shows the volume level. It doesn't move to the position, and the only way I can fix it is by Resetting it (Holding home + Lock). Is there any way to fix this? This is probably one of the few factors stopping me from Jailbreak.
Here is a youtube Video demonstrating it. Sorry for the quality, recorded it with my iPod Nano.

Mine was doing that the other night... After I turned it off and turned it back on with the button on top... It was fine. So I don't know what else to tell you... Restore?

I know restoring it fixes it until the next time but is there a permanent fix?

restore, not reboot, restore replaces the OS, since the file is obviously messed up in some way, it should fix it permanently, also, make sure its not the screen, some people cant touch certain places and have to go to apple for new ones
