So, I lost my touch at a wedding, and it was found shortly after I left, so it was out in the environment very long. I got it back and at first the sound was stuck at a certain volume and wouldn't get louder or more quiet. I put my ipod on recovery mode and restored it to the latest version and now the song plays with the speakers and in the headphones. I have my headphones plugged in and it plays out the speakers... anyone have a fix for this?

That sounds like the headphone jack is messed up.

Usually when things are "exposed," like you said, there is no software fix.

I meant to say it wasn't exposed very long. It was a normal day. I don't know if anything crawled into really... I'm pretty sure it didn't do the external speaker thing before I had it in recovery mode, im not sure, though. Before recovery mode, it wouldn't change volume. Now, it does change volume, but it does the external speaker and headphone thing
