It seems my ipod 2g suddenly died!
I launched ichess free and it was loading for a while, then it blocked,
and ipod 2g turned off. It doesnt respond to any button, home nor start.
Windows cannot recognise it via usb (Unknown device)

    Help me!!!

If it won't show up on your computer at ALL, go to the Apple store (Only if it isn't jailbroken

Try holding down both buttons for at least 15 seconds. It should boot up.

If you didn't jailbreak, then bring it into Apple. They will give you help.

Then you need to put it into DFU mode and do the reboot patch.

Actually no it's not in DFU mode because iTunes actually has drivers for DFU mode. It is in some different mode I'm not really sure what to call it. All I know is this happens after you do some step in cywood jailbreak right before the second set of patches and I think after recovery to jailbroken ipsw.
