    Hi there !

So basically a friend of a friend was selling an Ipod Touch for 70 euros, and so I figured I'd buy it. Unfortunately when I found my Ipod touch it was locked, and after trying a variety of codes, I started looking for ways to restore my ipod without having to enter the code.

I was told to put my Ipod in DFU Mode and then to press restore, which is what I did, but then a pop up came telling me that I needed to download the newest version of Itunes (which I just did, and yet it's still not working...)

Does anyone have any idea on what I could do ? Any advice is appreciated

    Thank you. Victoria

And asking what the code was wasn't ever an option?

you didnt need 2 threads for this, but a DFU restore/recovery mode restore is the only fix.
