sorry im newhere, question....

    how do i open the system files on an ipod touch 4g so i can do all those .plist things in the stickied forum?

    But you should look around the forum first. Just search ssh and explore from there.

    Go to Cydia and look up Open SSH or SSH and install that. Then install WinSCP, which is a Free SFTP and FTP client for Windows. Then type Root and Alpine where where it says User/Password... and type in your ip address. and click ok or connect.

    You'll figure it out. Not that hard. :]

    1) Install SSH through Cydia. (Should be under Networking Tools)
    2) Install WinSCP on Computer
    3) Open WinSCP
    4) Put in your ip address
    5) put your user/password in, which should be Root = User Name and Alpine = Password
    6) Click connect or Ok.

    *Note* You need to be connected to the Internet to do it. Or you can download iFile and edit/view the plist files there, assuming iFile didn't change.
