I'm trying to pwn my ipod. When it was building the custom firmware I get hte message: "Sorry I has failed"

    Why is this?

My ipod is currently on 2.0 and I am on a Mac. I searched the forum and did not find any guides for the ipod on how to pwn.

    Here is my log:

    I will help you!!!
this happened to me at the same spot.
how i fixed it was by opening finder, then open "go" on the menu
    select Go to folder..
    type /Volumes/

there should be a file there called bigbear or something with some numbers.
    delete it.

now try to pwn the firmware again and hopefully it should work this time!

(after i deleted the bigbear file i changed the boot logo too, just so it wasnt the exact same as the first time which failed.
but i dont think it matters)
