    Sorry about this, for some reason I keep getting an error when I use the search button to look for topics. "You do not have the required privileges to use this function."

    I just have a few simple(?) questions that can probably be easily answered.
    Sorry if this is in the wrong section, there isn't an official 2G JB support thread yet and this is the closest thing.

    1 How do I change my carrier, ( I know you use "make it mine" but I am unable to find it.

    2 What are these SSH things that I see people talking about. I saw download links in the 1g threads but I was afraid to download it. Can I use it?

    3 I see people posting their themes, how can I use these, I searched them up on Cydia and nothing.

    That's it for now

    PC, but for #3, after I download Winterboard, I can only install themes that I download from Cydia. When users post their themes, and there's a download link, how would I do use that?

    1) By the way, the app name in Cydia is MakeItMine without spaces, I was having that problem too but I just put Make and I found it under "M" lol

    2) SSH is a very useful thing that allows you to access the file system on your iPod, sort of like you do every day with your computer (view files on your hard drive). Download OpenSSH on your iPod and using WinSCP on Windows connect to it using your iPod's IP address, username: root, password: alpine.

    3) Download Winterboard from Cydia, and then using Cydia or SSH you can install themes

    Thanks a lot Salamantis!
    Sigh, I can't use Cydia atm, I downloaded "Stack" and now there's this opaque box that blocks my Cydia icon and I can't move it or anything. Anyone know a way around this? D;
