Hello, I apologize in advance if this is on the forums already but I gave up on searching because I couldn't find anything.

    Question:
I was wondering how to get songs off of my iPod and onto my computer. Preferably a quick, easy, and cheap way(spending no money). I am using an iPod touch 2nd generation, itunes 8, and my operating system is Windows XP 64-bit.

    Thanks

Hook it up to iTunes and hit 'transfer purchases'. It'll download all your purchased songs and apps to your computer.

Or you could use Tuneaid You can probably google a serial code or buy it.. your choice you can download the free version but i think you can only copy 20 songs at a time no bulk like 300... if you have a small number of songs like 100 then i suggest free version if more than 150 go for purchase

    hope it helps

    install t-pot and total commander
open total commander and go to ipod's file system
drag all folders from your ipod list to your music folder or wherever your music is wanted
open itunes and go to file add folder to library

In the future, use Sharepod. Free and incredibly simple.

Unfortunately, it does not show up on total commander. It doesn't even appear on "My Computer" as one of the devices. Only shows up on iTunes.
