    hey guys,

I just updated my 2G to 3.1.1. I had a smart playlist showing the "new songs" with songs sorted as "date added" to see the newest one. The problem is that now, on my ipod, the songs in this playlist are all shuffled and not sorted in the right way, it's very annoying as i can't see the newest ones on top. In iTunes everything is fine. I tried removing shuffle and repeat in the playlist in iTunes but it doesn't change anything. Do you guys have any clue how I could arrange this ?

Well, the only way to solve this is to do a DFU restore and downgrade the firmware to 3.0... Otherwise, we have to wait for Option 2, i.e. when Apple releases a new upgrade that will solve this problem...

Yup, it's very annoying. Especially with my Top 25 Most Played playlis. It doesn't even include the right songs when it plays on my iPod, but just some random ones.. My Recently added is all screwed up too.

    Fix this soon, Apple!!!

New version (3.1.2) won't fix this.... does anyone knows about a workaround?

I saw on another website a great work around. Just go to "Edit Playlist", and then add a parameter that says "Playlist is Music" with "Music" being the general library.

    It worked for me

Right click the playlist in the left sidebar, and then add a rule with "Playlist" "is" "Music". And that's it.
