    Hello.

I've been thinking about installing 2.0, the thing which keeps me from doing it is that my songs will have to be deleted when I do it (right?) since I've jailbreaked and should restore it first (or?). All those songs were on my external harddrive, which collapsed a few weeks ago, so the only source to all that music is through the iPod.

So, I'm wondering if there is any way to copy music from the iPod to the computer? I am using 1.1.1.

    Thanks! /Aejt

You really kept your composure there. I've horrible reactions to similar mistakes.

An easier way that uses your USB Cord and does it much Faster is with DiskAid

Bah, couldn't go to sleep before I had tested it.

It works fine, but it seems like the filenames are pretty random. For example, Metallica - Trapped Under Ice is named ANXS.mp3.

Does anyone know if there is some application which can change songs filenames to like "ARTIST - TITLE.mp3"? I'm using windows.

    Thanks.

Just drag it directly into iTunes, and it'll do all the naming and stuff for you.

Well, yeah, I know, but I kind of want to sort the files into different folders and such, and it will be hard if I have to rename file after another. I hate having a messy musicfolder, and it's even worse if the filenames aren't even recognizable.
