Hello - I downloaded two songs onto my iPod touch from the iTunes stores ON MY iPod. When I hooked the iPod to my PC, iTunes on the PC deleted the songs from my iPod - I have manually update music setup on the PC - so it shouldn't be doing a sync where it removes stuff not on my PC but on my iPod - is there somthing wrong on my iTunes PC settings? Any help?

Do you have the same account on your PC as you used to buy the music on your Ipod?

I just had the same thing happen to me, downloaded music on the iPod Touch and when sync'ed, deleted those songs I downloaded on it.

So now I have to buy those songs again?

Had tried that. Says all songs have been downloaded. Still downloads missing.

I think that's silly that iTunes doesn't let you redownload songs you have purchased, or at least give you 3 times to do that such as Napster. Especially since there software seems to delete files before you even have a chance to back them up.

But I guess this is an Apple product. Kind of except stuff like this from them.

Same Problem - $30 so far

    FOUND A FIX -
email customer support with what happened and the name of the song and they will add it to your downloads.
I has worked for me many times

You expect problems from Apple products?

I agree with this one. They can check your purchase logs.

Next time, buy music from iTunes through the computer, it's faster and more reliable
