Hey, I have band called "Who We Are" and I recently got a Bassist for our band and he has a recording studio inside his house, We we're really excited and wanted to test them out, so we tested out with a 00:16 second recording of our song "Don't Cry." It sounds amazing, maybe to amazing?

So I wanted to sync it to my iPod Touch to show my friends and family the amazing quality, I dragged and dropped the .wav file into iTunes and it goes to the bottom of my library with a gray album art, So I dragged the song to where "[Name's] iPod" is and got an error message.

The message told me the song was not synced onto my iPod because it could not be played on it, hmmm, So I checked the info on it and this is what I got:

Kind: AIFF audio file (I converted it in iTunes)
    Size: 5.9 MB
    Bit Rate: 3072 kbps
    Sample Rate: 96.000 kHz
    Channels: Stereo
    Sample Size: 16 bit

Now I really need help for me to sync this song (And once we record the entire song) So can someone please help me, who knows why this message appeared and how I can fix it.

Try converting to ACC format by clicking on the song then clicking advance and then create ACC version.

try to check the info of the song without converting it in itunes. if it is .wav format and 1411 kbps, than it should be played on ipod without converting.

I googled it, I converted the song to .MP3, with 320kbps without losing any quality, its also 8 times smaller
