OK, before the 1.1.3 Update, my iTouch have about 20M of Others, (orange bar in the graph) now after Update I have 105M of that, so I am sure the new apps are already in the iTouch but not enabled, and some that buy the apps said that it take no download time to enable them after buying, but more, with PrefEdit, if you go to com.apple.iPod.plist, you can see that in "Device/402EAD9218E21874/Missing Upgrade",that represent the touch update, the flag is set to 1 or Yes, for now I am affraid to try to change this flag to 0 and resync my touch but maybe this is a good way to look at to have those apps for free.

    Agreed.

Nothing that you do can't be fixed by a restore, and you have the potential to open up the apps for free for the whole community.

While I could do it, I'm not upgrading until a jailbreak is released.

Just curious what is stopping you from doing it? Like what do you think will happen if you do this. Will it be bricked or what? Because I might be willing to try it.
