ok so my ipod kept getting recognized as a iphone and i wanted to put my music on it, so i restored. but something weird happened in the middle of the restore and it said that it was finished, but it never got to verifying ipod software. so when ever i try to boot it up, it shows the recovery mode screen, but also has the little battery indicator up. the computer still wont recognize the ipod and i cant restore it. how can i fix this?

Try downloading iPhuc and putting it into restore/DFU mode that way. As long as it turns on, it should recognise it
