in the 3.1 feature list it said "Total elimination of cracked apps, new process that must verify AppStore Apps integrity before allowing them to run"

    has this actually been implimented?

im just wondering because im just about to release an app and i dont want it to be stolen :/

No, it did not stop them.

    Cracked apps still work unfortunately.

But didn't it add some form of security (like the app has to contact the iTunes store with a code, before it can be installed?

Or does that just make it harder...?

(Oh, sorry to the moderators, I'm not asking for instructions, just curious on what changed...)

As far as I know, the cracking process is exactly the same, with no added security.

@Ruamrudee I'm a developer and on 3.1 I downloaded my own application (that has already been cracked

    ) and it still works.

I don't know how it would be... Stu, could we get a comment if you are reading this?

I mean, we are discussing it because he is a developer, and doesn't want his soon-to-be released app stolen (completely understandable, I'd say).
