If icons are hidden they cannot be read by Spotlight or Settings app and so cannot be launched or settings changed.

This only really affects me with Mail app really but those who are fans of iNav-esque themes are doomed due to excessive categories use.

Someone must be able to program around this somehow.

I wasn't being impatient. I was just drawing attention to it incase someone hadn't already noticed

I agree. This needs a fix. I hide just about all my icons, so I only have one page. The more icons on springboard the less memory I have. I have three pages of apps, since spotlight can't find them hidden and I have about half the memory avalible compared to having only 1 page of icons.

Hopefully the developer of Quickgold can add features of that app to spotlight, recent and the ability to find hidden apps or just port Quickgold to 3.0.

Also: JB apps in Spotlight are represented by the botton quarter of their icon instead of it all.
