Just use the redsn0w link in my signature. You don't need libusb for it.

So let me get this right: I downloaded the redsn0w in you sig. this is from the README

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR WINDOWS
    ------------------------

It is recommended NOT to connect the iPod through any sort of USB hub.

    1. Either connect the iPod in DFU mode to the computer
    OR
Follow the step-by-step DFU instructions with the program

    2. Launch redsn0w.exe by double-clicking on it.

So all I have to do is run the program and it will jailbreak my ipod? and this works for Vista 64. are there and threads that discuss this method? Thanks

Yes. Yes. Just plug it in then put it in DFU and jailbreak.

OK I wanted to just make sure this wont harm my computer or anything, since the LIBUSB seems to have some negotive impacts for some users...

With redsn0w you don't have to install libusb so don't worry.

    1. Yes you can turn it off.

    2. Don't break it? Make sure your always able to restore to get your warranty back.
