    1. Do you have to update to get the iPhone apps?

    2. Right now, are the apps still avabile to buy?

    3. Or did they pull it and are working on it?

    4. Will they ever be free for a iPod Touch bought before the 27th

You have to update to get the official Apple release, but you can get them easily with an earlier jailbroken version.

1.Updating is free, not the iPhone apps.

    2. I believe the iPhone apps pack is still available, but there is reports it's been pulled off iTunes.

    3. Don't know.

    4. People who bought the iPod Touch after Dec. 27, get it built-in.
    Maybe, don't know.

    - Yes.

    2. Right now, are the apps still avabile to buy?
    - Yes. (You need iTunes 7.6 and Firmware 1.1.3)

    3. Or did they pull it and are working on it?

    4. Will they ever be free for a iPod Touch bought before the 27th
    - Call 1-800-MY-APPLE about this, and they may give you a $20 voucher.

I mean if I called to complain about why I believe it isn't right to have to pay 20 dollars for the apps then I might get a $20 voucher? They wouldn't just like dismiss me or something? (I bought my iPod in November)
