Ive been thinking, since I kind of want multitasking and what not in iOS 4, should I wait for the 4th gen iPod? I'm worried apple will make the cheapest model have no multitasking, so I'm also thinking of getting a 3G 32 GB in that case, but then I'm thinking "Why not get a netbook?" I'm not sure what to do, maybe someone could help?

I would hold off for another 3-4 months until the 4G iPod touch is released in September. Then you'll have no worries plus the benefit of having the rumored camera.

My mother is an apple enthusiast just takes my old iPod and I just upgrade to the latest one but if you're going to get a netbook just get a lowend laptop. Much better!

Deciding if you want a netbook and iPod touch are different things.

I strongly recommend waiting for the next iPod, anyways.
There may be a camera on it and it'll obviously be fully supported with iOS4 and more powerful.
