There are a few thing that i would like to warn you about if you are deciding to get yourself a copy of the new 3.0 beta 3.

    • i have a 2g. the 2g is currently not jailbreakable in 3.0 b 3. it says so on the Quickpwn site. if im wrong about that "oops my bad".

    • <REMOVED> not supposed to talk about how to get around the "are you a developer?" block.

    • that brings me to syncing. its glitchy too. sometimes it will sit there and not do anything. it happens after you add some more music to your ipod. it will sync all the new song BUT then it will say "syncing YOUR ipod" and not finish. as a matter of fact its doing it RIGHT NOW to me. i thought that the solution would be to uncheck the box for syncing music then resyncing it all back up but its currently not working. if you slide to cancel then the songs wont show up in the music player on the ipod BUT it will still be taking up the space on the ipod. the music's there, its just not showing up.

    • youtube does not work.

    • Tap Tap 2 gets crashy.

    • Pandora not working? maybe its my internet.

so theres an overview of the problems with 3.0 b 3. the biggest problem is syncing. other than that ive not found any other problems. ill try to update.

UPDATE: i think you can get it to sync if you just give it some time. like, alot of time.

You should probably format that into bullets, as it's hard to read in one huge [un-capitalized] paragraph.
And all of those points can be found around this section of the forum easily. There are also probably more of these threads around, too.

I've heard YouTube works when you activate your device under a legitimate Dev Account... or does YouTube not work for anyone in Beta 3 now?

no, youtube works perfectly for me, there are two requirements for that:
    1. you are either a registered dev or a beta tester for one
    2. u set up as a new ipod

also, i have not experienced any crashes on tap tap 2

YouTube only works if you have a legitimate dev account.

Just gotta love these guys with pirated installations of 3.0 beta on their iPods posting authoritative "reviews". Quite silly on numerous levels.
