    Hi guys,

Been reading the forum a lot lately and now decided to join with the release of the tethered JB.

I have some questions though before I do it.

    1) If I start to JB it and I get stuck, can I somehow restore it back to how it is now (Pre-JB)

    2) If I JB it and I don't like it, can I restore it to how it is now?

    3) If I JB and I turn it off, I HAVE to use my computer to load the ipod up again?

    4) Can the ipod be BRICKED trying to JB it?

    5) Do you keep your music, apps and videos?

    Cheers

    1) You probably wouldn't have done anything to it, in the first place, and iTunes has a built in "Restore" function, so you'll be ok, there.
    2) As stated in my previous answer, there is a restore function.
    3) I'm not so sure about this one, but I believe so.
    4) I'm wondering the same thing, and hoping for an answer in this thread.
    5) After you jailbreak your device, yes, you will still have everything that was previously on the device.

If your iPod is using redsn0w then you must use the computer everytime you want to boot your 2g up again. Otherwise you could just never turn it off and leave it hooked to a charged, but that'll fry your battery. And by the way, if you do mess up during the process, you seriously risk bricking your iPod. I would wait if I were you but it's your Touch.
