    Hey there all.

i have kind of a strange problem. after i charge my ipod to 100% the batterey stays for just some time after a day or so the ipod just shuts off and wont come back on. this happens even when the battery was about 100% just a minutes ago. and then when i connect it back to the comp it says battery too low and it starts charging.
i would be really glad if anyone helped.

    thanx
im running a jailbroken 1.1.5 which i jailbroke it with ziphone

    thanx a million in advance

    there are 2 problems
    1) your are using obsolete firmware...upgrade to 2.1
    2) you are using ziphone...ziphone is terrible
    ....use quickpwn

if while jailbreaking you still have a problem....restore to 2.1....send back to apple, enjoy your new ipod.

    its really simple:
    download quickpwn
have at hand 2.1 firmware (however you decide to acquire it)
shift + click on restore to get your ipod to firmware 2.1 in itunes
    wait until its finished restoring...
    keep itunes open
    run quickpwn (from http://blog.iphone-dev.org)
    follow instructions in quickpwn
    1)click next
    2)locate 2.1 firmware
    3)Next again?
4)select what packages you would like to install
    5)click next
6)follow instructions (consists of holding down power and home buttons for specific times....if you dont get it, dont worry)

yeah aha i was thinking that also about the 2 years....if you got it the day it came out its no longer under warrenty, unless you purhcased the extended one from apple or bestbuy or something

the best thing isjust bring it back and get a new shiny one,

i am not sure if it still works like this, but last i heard your ipod only has like 6,000 full complete charges on it or something, and if that runs out the battery is dead, and the only wway to replace it is sending it back to apple, where they charge you like....aound $75

but this was last i heard...like back when the ipod mini was out
