Some keys in the keyboard dont work!! Help

    I got a 2nd gen ipod touch from amazon, When I got it , realized the key "1" and "q" dont work, I updated to firmware 2.2 but the problem still persists, Have you guys heard of something like that ??????

    u might have a defect i would try bringing it to apple. what about those spots on other pages. does teh screen work in safari of other apps in thoses spots.

    if I use any other apps , the spot on the screen works rightly!!!

    that's weird it almost sound like u got faulty firmware thing but im no ipod technician

    I just restored it, but the problem is still there!!!!!!!

    if you flip it over 180 degrees so the keyboard is on the other side does it follow the keys or the place on the screen?

    Flip the iPod so you have a full QWERTY keyboard, and see if the key works. Flip the the other way (I don't have my touch yet, so I'm not sure if it will bring up a keyboard in both directions) and see if the key works.

    Also try re-calibrating it.
