Some Help Me With Zipping Files On The Ipod

    I need help using zip on my itouch i always get the error "nothing to do (nameofzip.zip)"

    HELP!

    I can't see the pics cause I'm on my pod, but let's say you have a folder called gas for greg It's best to take out the spaces in it's name gasforgreg

    Then, tell terminal to zip

    zip

    Then put a space and then -r after it (I dunno why)

    zip -r

    Then tell terminal what you wan't the file named when it's zipped (any name you want)

    zip -r gasforgreg.zip

    Then tell it the directory to find the file you want zipped (wherever you have it stored)

    zip -r gasforgreg.zip /var/root/gasforgreg


    And thats it! Unless you want to password protect the zip file.......Then you would replace the -r with -e (which means encrypt)

    zip -e gasforgreg.zip /var/root/gasforgreg

    Terminal will ask for a password (choose one you can remember!) then it will ask you to confirm the password

    mine keeps coming up with blah blah... Nothing to do try... Is that what i should do
