Some HD time lapse videos & long recording periods

    Earlier today I wanted to do a long period of recording HD video to check out what kind of heat and battery would result from it. I recorded for about 2.5 hours straight.

    First thing I found out is that after 50 minutes it stops recording saying the limit has been reached for that video. That's somewhere around 4gb I think. So I had to start a new capture right whenever this happened.

    As for heat, it didn't get too hot. Definitely warm, but it gets hotter playing games for half an hour. Battery also lost about half from an almost full charge. Pretty decent I think.

    Nice clips. It stops recording when the file reaches 4gb because of file system limitations (Fat32, max 4GB file sizes).

    and how exactly did you make that time lapse? i'd love to do that sometime.

    For the time lapse, I just sped up the videos in iMovie.
