I've notice that about one in five Appstore apps do not use the UIImages AppIconOverlay. I need them to use the Overlay so they fit in with my soon-to-be-released theme... Is there any way to do this, or will I have to make a custom icon for each of these Apps?

    Thanks in advance.

I am 90% sure if they specify UIPrerenderedIcon as YES in Info.plist, the system will not apply the overlay.

@ jlocalled, thanks so much for your reply! I was developing an iPhone app and had no idea how to prevent the overlay. Thanks so much! Your method worked perfectly

So Is there a way to overwrite this in the info.plist of a theme so that instead of telling ppl who download my theme to edit the info.plist of apps I can add an info.plist or sumthin so they don't hav to do anything?
