If this is the case make sure you have had ssh installed on your ipod and a wifi account automatically setup before on your ipod. What you want to do is plug your ipod into a windows machine and wait till you hear that detect device sound. Then ssh into your ipod. Nagivate to /private/var/mobile/Applications/

In that folder delete as many applications that you don't need. When your done, wait for awhile like 7 minutes and you should see the lock screen.

Note: Make sure you have max of 42 apps under that folder. Thank you. Also delete some jailbroken installed apps from /Applications. Keep the total amount of apps under 60. Keep it under 50 for best performance and to be on the safe side.

This is just a quick solution cause i do seem to see alot of people running into this problem and not know what happened and how it may of happened. This also leads to the spinning wheel of doom.

NOTE: This also informs users to watch how many apps they install. As if they install too much including ones from app store will cause the ipod to go into the spinning wheel.

This is only useful if you know what caused your iPod to crash...

Ya for some reason no matter which custom firmware I use it still wont boot properly f I sync some of my apps. It will only tolerate about one and a half pages at a time. I really hope this is fixed
