    • Got Windows?
    • Pwn'd firmware 1.1.4?
    • Boot neutered?
    • Upgraded to itunes 7.7?
    • Installing the custom firmware that you undoubtedly made on your Macintosh previously, and in NO WAY pirated?
    • Getting an error 1600, 1601, 1602, etc?

There is a very easy fix for that.
    1. Redowngrade to iTunes 7.5
    2. Reenter DFU mode
    3. Shift+Select restore and select the 2.0 custom ipsw.

    Congrats, you're done!

    Enjoy,
    Skylar

EDIT: In case you're wondering why this is, let me quote:
"Yeah, that's because 7.7 does something sneaky that the pwnagetool on the mac stops it from doing. But if you just copy the ipsw, you get the sneakiness. But if you're already pwned, there's no need to unsneakify it."

Got mine to work, these are the steps I used!

    1. Downgrade from 7.7 to 7.5
    2. WinPWN a 1.1.4 and apply to ipod
    3. Upgrade to 7.7
    4. Shift click restore to custom 2.0

Make sure you're in DFU. Then go shift restore to a normal 1.1.4, and then pwn it.
