SOLUTION to error 6 problems.

    Open ZiPhone, and select FIX NVRAM, while your iPod is in recovery mode.

    Continue with your daily routine.

    Error 6 can also mean the image is to big meaning the KB it should be under 100kb, I got error 6 alot until i changed the size of the image now works perfect.

    This is the other error 6 issue that I had. Where the iPod would not restore to a custom firmware nor an Apple firmware without error 6-ing.

    If you do what the thread starter states then you will be stuck with an ipod touch that wil load the firmware but will shows a black blank boot screen....so dont even bother.

    Just stick with Pwnage.

    error 6 means it a corrupt firmware. change the boot images if pwning or if it happening with a official apple fw then dl another fw
