This is what you guys did (and so did I) do wrong.
In the Windows tutorial of Redsnow it says, in step 7, to run all the commands as listed. However, you are not supposed to enter them one by one as the Guide says. You are supposed to enter them like this:

    This is quote by Phillyblonds:

    ] (Recovery) iPhone$ arm7_stop
    (Recovery) iPhone$ mw 0x9000000 0xe59f3014
    (Recovery) iPhone$ mw 0x9000004 0xe3a02a02
    (Recovery) iPhone$ mw 0x9000008 0xe1c320b0
    (Recovery) iPhone$ mw 0x900000c 0xe3e02000
    (Recovery) iPhone$ mw 0x9000010 0xe2833c9d
    (Recovery) iPhone$ mw 0x9000014 0xe58326c0
    (Recovery) iPhone$ mw 0x9000018 0xeafffffe
    (Recovery) iPhone$ mw 0x900001c 0x2200f300
    (Recovery) iPhone$ arm7_go
    (Recovery) iPhone$ #
    (Recovery) iPhone$ arm7_stop
    (Recovery) iPhone$

UPDATE: Press enter after each line.

When done typing it exactly as it shows, one line at a time, EXIT the Command Prompt and then open iTunes, and restore using the PatchedFW in Xpwn directory.

    It worked for me.

UPDATE: I just panicked. There are more steps to this as AriX says in the last, step 9:
To boot normally, follow the README.txt tutorial but use iRecovery instead of rslite, and instead of doing #pwn211ibss.txt run all of the commands listed in the pwn211ibss.txt file.

so when he says you aren't supposed to enter them one by one

does that mean i should take this

and type ALL of it, without hitting enter once?
