solar ipod

    how can I get my ipod to be a solar generator panel to run my hybrid

    Easy. You need to download the app to control output and buy the plug that goes from the ipod to the cigarette lighter on your car.

    Only works with the 2nd gen touch, as it also has a little relatively undocumented solar panel built in.

    Pop the ipod on your cars dash, plug it in and off you go...

    Only bad point is the solar panel in the ipod cant be used to charge the ipod battery

    so i hope that comes out in the next firmware release from apple!

    I have heard though that 4 or 5 of these set up can power a whole house... i dont know ? any thoughts ?

    yeah it actually takes like 7 but my neighbors cats keep stealing them from my roof

    Everyone knows that you can't use the Ipod as a solar generator without jailbreaking it though it may be available if Apple unlocks the bluetooth.
