Soft vs Hard Upgrade?

    What's the difference? And was the 1.1.2 windows bat file jailbreak a "hard" jailbreak?

    oh wow. soft upgrade means software upgrade.
    the 1.1.2 batfile upgrade was a genuine jailbreak, meaning it was on the firmware before it was jb, not some BS software swap that passed by as a lame excuse for a jb. w.e. i still like it lol.

    Soft upgrade means only files are replaced, not everything, like a real update via iTunes.
    Although, a hard update is possible now.

    he said possible not availible. If i am correct the dev team is going to release that after the SDK release.

    Yes, the Dev Team has an exploit they'll release, plus Zibri and the team found the AES key, so we can encrypt/decrypt custom firmware.
