    I downloaded an app to manually turn on various services including BT, it just sits there and acts like its doing something so my inner Geek is going to have to give in to the "No Bluetooth" claims

    I don't get this thread.

    Did you mean that we can hope that BT chip is actually inside the iPod Touch?
    And which app did you install to see BT?

    I did this too. Its the services app from community packages in installer.

    I tapped on Bluetooth and it just sat there with the spinning thing.

    EDGE was turned on by default in this app but it certainly does not exist.

    so... I don't know.

    Whats the point of EDGE on the touch?
