so now that we can ssh

    well everyone is talking about 2.0 being jailbroke now and ssh and stuff. but is ssh the only thing we are able to do so far? no apps at all yet?

    no apps have been ported to 2.0 yet

    i know that but i was hoping for some kind of amazing way that something would work

    i heard NES.app was ported... btw... to ssh i have to install openssh?... is it already ported?

    yeah it's on Cydia, but i can't get it to work


    i'm using winscp

    i put in my ip address

    then put in apline - root

    click login,

    but it times out after about 15 seconds and can't connect

    Usually it will time out the first couple times. Be persistent and it will eventually log you in.

    Ditto to this. It takes roughly a minute to generate the SSH keys on the Touch the first time to attempt to SSH in to it. For many SSH applications this is longer than their default timeout window.

    I read that there is some folder in there for "printers" ...

    Anything else cool?
