So my iPods going to be opened up...

    ... to get a bettery change. But it sjailbroken, and i am NOT doing this under warrenty, im paying for it.

    I do not want to restore, is getting a battery change while jailbroken a problem of any sort?

    EDIT: I am doing it at an apple store

    If you're planning on doing it by yourself, you should be familiar with soldering techniques: the battery is soldered right onto the PCB.

    I don't think getting your battery changed while jailbroken will do anything, but Apple's battery change process says you lose everything when they change it. So, I'm not sure, but you could probably lose everything after the battery is unhooked, so do an aptbackup of all your applications in case you need to restore.
