Just Jailbroke on 3.0 and already I have only 54MB left on "/"

Last time, with my iPod fully customized I had several hundred MB left so can anyone help me fix this?

    Restore and Re-Jailbreak.

Are you talking about like disk space for music? or the space Cydia allocates for it's stuff?

When someone talks about "/" they mean cydia allocation stuff.

And correct me if i'm wrong but restooring and jailbreaking won't fix it. Wait till there are advanced options so you can create a bigger root partitiion.

But i guess it depends if u did a full restore before jailbreaking to 3.0

I know it won't fix it because it's not a problem, that's why I asked if he meant Cydia allocated space.

If it's allocated for Cydia, 54mb is normal. You probably just installed a lot of things lol.

Though I have 500MB lol, so I suggest you Restore and ReJailbreak if you have no idea what you installed to have so little space.

It's impossible to have 500MB left. That means that not even the OS is installed. And there have been many threads on this. It's normal. It's because of the extra features in 3.0. More features = less space for cydia.

Its possible, I have 450MB left on the system partition, and 2.5GB on the media partition

all the firmware files are like 250MB alone so that means u set your root partion to 700ish??
