This thread will be short, but anyways I heard there was some over heating problems with the Ipod Touch 4G? Is this true. Id appreciate it if you could tell me of any other problems.

I live in Las Vegas. It was only about 90 degrees today, not too bad for Vegas weather. Picked up my Touch, started playing with it. Installed various games and apps, started playing around with Katamari, Stair Dismount, a few other relatively intensive apps. No overheating warnings or the like to be seen.

I wonder how the iPod touch would last regular Vegas weather, which is above 100 degrees (though that's not going to happen until next summer).

My 2G Touch, my current HTC Hero CDMA phone, and pretty much all my other electronics (Nano 3G, Macbook Pro, etc) handle it just fine.

As far as overheating goes, there's been at least 2 people who have overheating issues, a couple with leaking light issues, and many people have the ticking issue with the rear mic due to wifi. Those are all the issues known to man right now with the iPod Touch 4G.

I used facetime for an hour and a half straight on battery power only last night and it got warm but nowhere near hot. The battery was half gone but it worked outstanding. That's the only time it got warm even after hours of use surfing, installing apps etc..
