so i've had my iPod Touch for almost a year now, but now i think it is broken.

The right headphone will no longer work and i'm pretty positive its not the headphones because i have tried multiple sets and all of them have the same results.

this leads me to one conclusion, the headphone jack is loose/broken?

so is there no way for me to fix this? im doubting its still under warranty, and i refuse to buy another iTouch when the iPhone, being even better, is $100 cheaper now. and i dont want to get an iPhone because im getting a Verizon Voyager in a few days.

    so am i screwed?

P.S. : sorry to the countless people that PMed me while i was away from these forums, i just sort of quit on ipodtouchfans and i apologize for that. i hope you all got your emulator problems solved without me.

Considering the first iPods were released in September 2007, that would make them all under warranty, correct, Dave C?

Once again, the ipod touch was introduced on Sept 5th I believe of 2007 which would make all ipod touches still under warranty. kthnxbai

woo that's a relief. a few questions though:

    1. there is no Apple Store even remotely close to me, but i bought this iPod from the Apple website, where exactly would i return it?

    2. my iPod is jailbroken and has been since the day i got it, should i "factory restore" it so it looks normal before i return it?

    3. does it matter if my ipod is scratched up? that doesnt negate the warranty right?

sorry, ive honestly never had to return anything valuable at all before.
