It sounds pretty good, but it can depend what what ear/headphones you use.

I have read that it's the best sounding iPod yet.

I have different headphones and I can hear a major difference. The ipod is perfect, but the headphones that come with it leave a little to be desired.

I highly recommend it, and the prices will not be dropping anytime soon.

The best you'll get for $300 is the 16GB, if they do a MAJOR price drop, which is a maybe. I bet the 32GB will never get below $400 or $450.

    oh, couple questions guys!
    1. i cant multitask those jailbreak apps, can i?
    2. does ff4,5,6,7,8,9 runs smoothly thru the emulator? cos its not funny if its lag when i fight ruby or omega weapon.
    3. is it frustrating when download files from [PIRACY.rs], zshare, and kind thru its safari? i know it can be done by some jailbreak apps, but does it gives u trouble? like on n off downloading or stuff.
    thx

    1. Don't understand what you mean. Please clarify.
    2. Most games lag a little. I've played a few of those ffs and its not that bad.
    3. Haven't downloaded any files from sites to touch, but it can be done with safari dl plugin and others. Haven't heard any significant issues with them, but i dont completely understand you questions anyway.

Downloads are fairly slow, but managable (25-50 kbps). You can only have 1 app open at a time, but with 1.1.4, it allows background processes (MobileChat, ColloQ, etc. Online messaging apps, basically). Most games lag a little bit, as TheDuke said. When you get to the middle numbers of FF (6+), they start to actually lag a lot due to the heavy graphics.
