So...if your iPod Touch (1g)...

    Doesn't boot to spring board, the home button doesn't work, it was previously jailbreaked, and no computer can detect it... is it considered "bricked"?

    is the screen working?
    bricked means the screen is black... it wont boot... and itunes doesnt not recognize it

    Maybe a program like the (dreaded) ziPhone program can force you into restore mode. It has that feature somewhere.
