    yea, he probably sent it to apple, paid 400$, and got the box and the backings of the phone replaced. hes a fail. were not idiots.

    I havn't looked at it but i guess they just changed the faceplate in the back and used some shrink wrap or something to make it look like the box was sealed

    The white iPhones are perfectly made. Apple is just being kinda stupid and making up excuses about the white color not being matched up with the home button and it doesn't look even. This is a completely legit Apple-made White iPhone 4. I watched this last night.

    iphone 4 doesn't display the GB on the back.
    check out some black iphone 4 images, it's same.
    Like someone mentioned, if you know someone pretty high up in apple, you can probably get one.
    Also I read that if you preordered the white when pre order was first available, some people got it. Not too sure on this but it could happen. No one will know for sure.

    Mine is legit black, and It doesn't show the memory either. The box can easily be faked (you just gotta photoshop the white iPhone, print it off, and do a good gluejob on the box. He may have left the poor quality shrink wrap on to hide the peeling corners. as for the rest, he either kept everything from the one he got in its wrappers, and placed the screen protecter back on, or it's a legit iPhone

    It's a white faceplate (and backplate). Engadget has one too. He installed it himself.
