I've got the 3rd gen ipod touch, and you know how it's tethered?

Welllll .. what if i ended up draining the batteries easily and I don't have a computer to reboot it? I know, my fault, but then what if it happened so often, i wanted to just take off the jailbreak.

    How would i do that?

& also, what're the risks of jailbreaking? can i brick it or anything?

    appreciate the help

yours will need to run blackrain again in order to reboot.

if you decide to take off the jailbreak just restore it via itunes to original firmware

risks: if your trying to brick it you might have a hard time..
if anything goes wrong all you need to do is restore on itunes and itll be original again..

For Jailbreaking, you'll get it thru with no problem

It took me half a minute ^^

There is "Five Icon Dock" which is for adding a fifth icon on the little bar at the bottom

There is "Five-Column SpringBoard" which add... a fifth column

There is "Fivel Rows" (GUI: With an Icon for activation/desactivation etc, No GUI: No Icon) which add... a fifth row

If you have all of these it should looks like this

(here I have a theme so the background wouldn't be like that)

    I suggest you:
Rock (not an app but I prefer it to Cydia, faster and more appealing graphically)
WinterBoard of course (that's one of the more important

    )
Emulators (NES, snes4iphone, gamboy4iphone, GpsPhone (that's GBA)), it's also a must I believe (if you want ROMs PM me)
    Categories can be useful indeed
    OpenSSH is useful
SBSettings for some apps that need it (like OpenSSH), other than that I don't see why everybody say it's so awesome

No it doesn't have to be on drive C: ! Mine was on D: and the jailbreak still worked. Where did you get that information from ?

Oh, and the iPod warns you TWICE when the battery is low. Once at 20% and once at 10%. And it's not like a PSP where the power LED just blinks and you have your thumb on it and don't notice. No. It's on screen. It pauses your game and waits for you to click a Dismiss button. So you'd have to be a real moron to go past the 10% mark if you know you won't have access to a computer for some time.

Side note here: Mine lasted more than an hour and a half of music on something like 6-8%.

Oh, and even if you DO go past that 10% mark and the battery dies, you still need a computer to charge it. So why not just press a "make it ra1n" button and be done with it ?
